After the café closes, Sub-Station Rosebery becomes an intimate private event venue with connected indoor and covered outdoor areas. Overlooking Turruwul Park, the leafy setting and warm evening lighting create a relaxed backdrop for engagement parties, milestone birthdays, intimate wedding receptions and team celebrations.

With the whole venue exclusively yours, the event space can be arranged for up to 65 seated guests or 110 guests cocktail-style, with food, drinks and service taken care of by the Sub-Station team.

Buffets, Canapés And Pizza

Choose from generous buffet dining or roaming canapés, with menus tailored to your guest numbers and style of celebration. For something a little different, ask about adding our live pizza experience, with pizzas prepared and cooked fresh during your event.

Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options can be accommodated, with beer, wine and cocktails also available.

FAQS

  • Events can start from 4:30pm and must finish by 11:30pm.

  • Deposits are fully refundable for cancellations made seven days or more before your event. Cancellations made within seven days receive a 50% refund, while cancellations made within 48 hours of the event will result in the full deposit being forfeited.

  • Evening functions have a minimum spend from $4,400. Final pricing will depend on the date, guest numbers and food and beverage selections.

  • Functions are held after the café closes, with start and finish times confirmed according to your chosen date and event requirements.

  • You’re welcome to discuss cakes, styling and decorations with our team. Any entertainment or additional suppliers will need to be approved before the event.

  • Street parking is available around the venue and in the surrounding Rosebery area. Sub-Station also offers step-free access and accessible facilities.
